From bedroom to international stages.
Kids of the Elephant saw the light of day in 2021 in Brussels, born from the mind of frontman William Clarx. He writes, records and produces every song in his bedroom studio, stitching funky, juicy guitar riffs to warm, rolling rhythms. Music has always been his compass, even through his years studying medicine.
On stage the band turns those bedroom tracks into a sweaty, danceable show that feels like Parcels french kissing Daft Punk at a Jamiroquai concert on a Saturday night. Since their debut on the Brussel Brost mainstage they have played Gentse Feesten, Suikerrock, Trix and a sold out EP release party at Brussels Beer Project.
After the debut EP As a Friend (2024), the band teamed up with Remy Lebbos (L'Impératrice, Girls in Hawaii) and Frederik Dejongh (Jamie Lidell, Balthazar) for On And On, followed by Till It's Over, How Can You Live Like That and now Make your call on me.
KOTE is William Clarx (guitar, lead vocals), Simon Cogels (keys, backing vocals), Jeremy Murphy (bass, backing vocals) and Hadrien Pierson (drums).
